The iconic Canadian tool of choice - the axe! This 1 -1/2 lb head is forged entirely from tough tool steel and fully hardened on both the cutting edge and back so that it will stand up to a lifetime of use. Hand selected straight grain hickory wood for the handle has been carefully contoured to fit the working hands that will be swinging this tool. Tightly fitted with a white oak wedge to ensure the best fit of the handle to the head. No tool is complete without a thick and robust leather sheath to ensure that the razor-sharp cutting edge is protected and can be safely handled.

This axe is a collaboration effort between VSSL and Timothy Dyck to once again see the outdoor enthusiast geared with hand forged tools that will last a lifetime.
