This one-off piece of work is made from old forgotten logging equipment out of the forests of British Columbia, Canada. The surface of the bowl has deep texture from the steel being fused together by the old process of fire welding. The evidence of this process is seen across the surface of the bowl where the material did not fully join together, creating tears and voids alluding to the old history of this piece.
